This kit is designed to enable your 2003, 2004 or 2005 Saab 9³ to use a power outlet inside the center armrest, as Saab had designed.  In some vehicles, you will notice it's absence replaced by a round cover plate.  This kit is designed to replace it and wire the car as Saab originally intended.

Once installed, you can use it for a multitude of uses, including but not limited to a power source for your MP3 player, or a light to illuminate the interior of the armrest.  That's right, just like the cigarette lighter, this one has the same green glow to it.

The instructions and product are designed to tap into the same circuit as was originally designed.  In vehicles without the port, the circuit was simply not continued past a certain connector.  The circuit is fused in the dashboard fuse panel with a 30A fuse in position #10. 

This installation assumes that there is certain wiring present in the vehicle.  Due to Saab removing options, you may find it beneficial to determine if the assumed wiring is present. Remove the left center console panel & check to see if there are 2 wires that are larger & thicker than the others in the lowest position of the connector.  One will be black, the other yellow with a white stripe.

This product is design to to be installed with a minimum of expertise, and can be accomplished by anyone with a desire for more power!  There is no Tech II activation required.  Everything you need is included, plus more!
